Summer time!! The Fire is STRONG🔥. Too much of an element leads to an imbalance. So if your constitution is primarily Pitta, you have a lot of fire, and you could be experiencing these increased symptoms listed above more so than a Vata or Kapha primary constitution. The remedy is to invite in the opposite qualities, actions and traits to achieve balance through mindset, movement, lifestyle, food and beverages. The Pitta Dosha is hot, sharp, intense, spreading, light, and oily. To balance the Fire we need to invite in coolness, smoothness, slowness, heaviness and dryness. We can do this in SO MANY WAYS. An increased Fire needs the Space and Earth element to balance it out. This means we need to slow down and incorporate feeling grounded. We REALLY want to decrease too much movement (AKA the AIR element). When Air meets Fire, it spreads the fire and can lead to destruction. Summer time is perfect for slowing down, doing less, and staying cool.
